So I’ve been working on a list of things to get when I am home. Some things out of my belongings that still exist and some at target. (Don’t mention “WalMart” to me or I may get enojada). Well I’ve been desiring a couple of clothespins to clip some items in my cabinet closed. Well yesterday I found one in my FUMC birthday bag (it even says “God loves you”) and one on a coat hanger in my room today. Now if you can’t say God pays attention to the details…then I just don’t know you.
I have been working in the dental clinic Tuesday and Wednesday to get a new volunteer settled in to the routine. So Tuesday I was going to the gym and the school to pick up a few kids at a time. They were all boys. And when I went some small boys I got these two.
The whispered a third of the way and when they started talking one of them said “can we go to the store after the dentist?” They were so sweet and cute it made me glad I don’t work with them because I’d be flat broke from buying them stuff at the store and baking cookies n such for them at their house. I texted kalli this pic and she ended up calling them. When i said “its Kalli calling” Marlon jumped up out of his chair. But he was a little freaked out with the talking on the phone. But it was great to see them get to speak with her. They are adorable. Completely adorable.
My guitar got delivered from home by Lourdes and Wade since they went home for the Duck Dynasty fundraiser. It was all gravy til I opened my case and remembered I only have 5 strings on it. (It’s supposed to have 6). I Plan to borrow a set until I come back and I repay a staffer here. But even with 6 strings it was so nice to have my own guitar!
It seems to me that there is some football game coming up in Auburn this weekend. I have seen a few things on Facebook and twitter and such…. I don’t say that I miss it too much, but the thought of being there with my peeps makes me miss it. And the orange and the blue. And the photo opps at Toomers. And especially missing DIPNATION with Sister Girl is just sad. Looking forward to bowl season for that one particular thing. Come on Auburn. You gotta represent for dipnation to appropriately happen in December.
The Lord has been waking me up at very early times of the morning. Usually 4:15 recently. But today 2:15. Oye. Thankful for the moments to spend time in prayer for my peeps. And my kids. And a bunch of other things, but tonight when I go to bed at 6pm (haha) I’m gonna have to talk with The Lord about my alarm clock situation.
And to end this riveting post with more riveting info….
Um.
Well
I got nothing.
Just a day in #theRas. Good times. Normal stuff as third world living at an orphanage.
Peace and love. Be His.
