Available…for His glory.

available for Him- His purpose, His glory

Here is just a collection of photos over the past two weeks that I haven't posted anywhere. Just interesting or whatever you want to call it.

Panoramic of the Big Girls Yard from the laundry steps.  I sit here for my yard duty since it is the only shade not in the grass.  I am hoping a team is going to replace the roof on our pavilion at some point soon.

Kids in the library.  They are in a reading group and when they are good they get a free period to read.  Just love to see them wanting to read books.

What some of my studying looks like.  I write things down i don't know, need to know, or want to know and then find the english or spanish.  And sometimes some of my girls write things in my book for me.

Front gate of Emmanuel after a walk into town.

What it looks like walking toward town. Emmanuel is on the left.  I will take more pics at some other point to show you "town"

Waiting at the gate to go tow town.  Evidently the security guard was in the bathroom.  First time i have ever seen him smile.  As he came out he said Just a minute while I wash my hands.  We said well thank you.  And then Kim in the pink said something about needing "phfft phfft" and made a hand motion similar to what you do when you are trying to get an 18 wheeler to blow his horn.  We all laughed hard and he chuckled.  On the way back we had a lot of toilet paper but Kim gave him cookies.  Then we asked if he needed more paper for "phfft phfft"  Oh it was just a classic moment to get a man laughing who wears a gun.

Banana bread muffins.  No loaf pan.  No mixer.  Well, no electric mixer.  They were good.  If I do say so myself.
