Thanks to my random friend OCD bout numbers…I realized my last post might have worried a few of you. Please don’t be worried.
Some days I am full up and I don’t know what to do so I blog. I just want folks to see that “put together” folks aren’t so put together. And we are really not so different.
And apologies to anyone I may have been short with last week. No excuses. A long busy week shouldn’t mean that I can leave you in pieces behind the wake of the SS Andi. I’m sorry.
But in this process that I think inevitably leads to leaving here to go “there” there is breaking. Breaking loose the things that will have to be left behind. And sometimes that happens in stages. And while I know the end result the road to get there isn’t always easy.
Like training for a race. The running and running is tedious. But the crossing the finish line is like nothing else. Paul spoke of running races…pressing on. More is spoken in God’s word about the race, the journey, the way at times than about the end. Because the road with HIM gets us there. And as we walk the breaking refines, grows, makes us ready.
So the tears at the ironing board were a bit of that process. Thanks for joining in the journey. For your prayers and words of support as I press on to “there.”
