We all arrived safely home, stopped at the Dwarf House for a little food on the way home, then said goodbye to the team. I successfully stayed up until 9pm then headed to bed.
I updated the photo album and will update the previous blogs with pictures later today. I marvel at the photos and smile to see my friends- ugandan and non-ugandan. I love the picture of Jenna crying with Hayaya. I love the picture of Rick and Sandra at the Falls. I smile to see the well grand opening. The picture of Stephanie and Zaria makes me almost cry. The picture of Dan and Peter makes my heart happy. All while I am trying to decide what I want to do for lunch. Such choices I have today that I didn’t have 3 days ago…
Some updates for you:
Buloba is working on finding the children for the sponsorship program. I will let you know when the kids are ready to be chosen on the US side and announcements will be made at church. I cannot explain how this is going to radically change the lives of kids and families in Uganda.
Approximately 15 people came forward to give their lives to Christ after the Jesus film, 4 during church service, and 5 during door to door ministry. Buloba church members will follow up with them as they are able. There are so many new believers in Buloba…the church has work to do on a weekly basis just keeping up with that.
Please pray for Buloba as they continue to work on the building, the child sponsorship, the women’s work and everything else going on. Pray as they combat the spiritual hold of witchcraft and the Muslim community.
We brought home 9 bins of craft items from the ladies in Buloba. We will let you know when and how we are going to present them so you can purchase these things. They are amazing works of craftmanship and art.
Your prayers have made another successful team trip. I was telling someone yesterday that this is at least my 9th team trip with no major incidents or problems. A testimony to your faithfulness in prayer. Selfishly I am thankful- I don’t mind problems or crisis but prefer to live my life crisis free with teams. It is so much easier to focus on the work when we are problem free : )
