Available…for His glory.

available for Him- His purpose, His glory

For you bloggy types who have been reading for awhile you know a few things about me:

I don't type (or talk) in complete sentences unless I am teaching or doing work stuff.  And depending on who I am talking to at work it may still not be complete sentences.

I have a tendency to think the random or obscure is interesting or entertaining.

I love to see God at work in our world.

I get frustrated with our world.  I long for eternity and being with Him forever.

I love to eat.

I (still) don't like to run.  And the Jiggle Butt Run 2011 is coming up faster than I want it too…man. I gotta get with it.

And in keeping with the above…

I was sad to see that Frito Lay has caved in to the pressure of the American public.  They are discontinuing the crinkly really loud bags on their Sun Chips.  They are only keeping the crinkly loud bag for the Original Flavor (second to the Harvest Cheddar flavor I believe).  Man.  Really?  I kind of liked the crazy loud bag.  it's like an accountability alarm for someone gettin in the chips.  Although Sun Chips are "healthy" chips.  Or as a sweet little African American friend out in Beauregard told me one day "These are white people chips." Whatever that means.

So what if the bag is insanely loud.  We are saving a whale.  Or the environment.  Or whatever. And I liked the comments they printed on the bag ABOUT the bag being loud… and it probably scared the rats or roaches away from some people's kitchens or bedrooms.  You KNOW some college student somewhere eats them…

I wanted to share with you my favorite picture from last week's football game.  Trey picking up his teammate when he hurt his ankle.  Evidently he and the other guy trying to help him hop to the sideline wasn't working for Trey.  He just threw him on his shoulder and toted him off.  I love it.

And I can't explain the extreme joy that I had last Thursday night digging out my Woodland Bobcat sweatshirt knowing I could and would wear it Friday night.  Friday night lights.  Bobcat Football. Prayers. Stress.  The joy of winning.  The bummer it is to lose a close game.  Can't wait for Friday to get here.
