Available…for His glory.

available for Him- His purpose, His glory

Sorry for the delay in posting…

  • Halloween on the day before HALLOWEEN Day messed me up.
  • Patrick and Sarah from Uganda arrived last Thursday and I have been busy with them (if you want a fun time, just hang out with them!)
  • I have been getting ready to take a team to New Orleans today.  Trying to remember what I am forgetting.
  • I have been busy working on my house to get it ready to sell.  Like spur of the moment "Let's redo the kitchen floor on a Monday/Tuesday night."
  • I have been looking down my path and trying to figure out what God is doing.  As in, "Andi quit her job and doesn't have the promise of one the day after her last day."
  • I voted and NO my vote did NOT not count.  It counted.  I voted to speak my mind and claim that I am involved with my country for the next 4 years.  And oh yeah, God IS still in control.  Despite what you may think about whomever is in charge of the areas of our lives- including our Nation's Executive office. And legislative.  And Judicial.

I love where I am. Uncertainty is a little scary but trust makes it incredible.

For those of you who didn't receive the email.  I resigned from my job as Children's Minister to focus on missions. I will continue to do missions coordination as a volunteer as I have for the past 3 years.  I wasn't paid to do missions while on staff at CUMC so my focus has been children's.  And as you can imagine my focus time and energy has been divided a lot.  So I had to be obedient to what God has been saying to me for months and step out of Children's to "do" missions.  Whatever that means.

And yes, I am selling my house.  No, I am NOT moving to Uganda.  Just trying to get out of debt.  It is easier to "do" missions full time when I am free from the debt that looms over my head.  So…if you are in the market for a cute little cottage house in Opelika.  Nice corner lot- cute house. Let me know. LOVE my house, but it needs to go on to bless someone else.  i would post a picture but that would be tacky.  So let me know if you want to see it- I will email it to ya.   Oh, and if you are interested in a 2004 Honda with 54,000 miles on it.  I am looking to sell it too.  Just too lazy to haggle with folks calling from an ad in the paper 🙂

Which brings me to New Orleans-
WE are going Today!!  WE will be working on someone's home- sanding, texturing, and painting.  Saturday night we will go and help serve the homeless in the downtown area.  Plus we are going to try to visit Ms. Earlene from our March trip.  Please pray for us as we travel tonight and return on Sunday afternoon.  These are the folks going:
John Atkinson
Cindy Massey
Donny McAnnally
Seleena McAnnally
Lisa Pierce
Lucy Little
Patrick and Sarah Seroungji (our friends from Uganda)
Me

Thanks for reading.  Thanks for praying.  Thanks for being FLUID this year and last year.  Our new missions theme for 2009-2010 is coming…. it's gonna be a great year next year.

God’s speed on your trip, and know that Jenna and I will be praying that God would be glorified through your service.
